Welcome to our first grandchild.
Peyton Eugene McCarty Hood was born on
July 25, 2011.  He weighed in at 7 lbs., 7 ozs.
We were so blessed for our family to be together when Heather delivered.  Christina returned from her deployment to Afghanistan just two days prior and was able to drive to Round Lake, IL where Heather and Sean live; Tim and I met her there.  All of us were at the hospital to welcome Peyton into his new family.
